What to Wear

Dress Code

Cocktail Attire

We encourage earth tones, warm colors, and comfortable elegance. Think fall vibes — burgundy, rust, sage, gold. Dresses, jumpsuits, suits, or sport coats all welcome.

Weather

Early October in Michigan can be crisp. The celebration is indoors, but we recommend bringing a light jacket for outdoor photos or evening strolls.

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only (18+) celebration. We hope this gives you a chance to let loose and enjoy the evening!
The Magic Bag doesn't have its own lot, but parking nearby is easy: the lot behind the venue, the lot across Woodward, spots near the library, and street parking throughout downtown Ferndale. Rideshare drop-off right out front works great too.
Your presence is our present! We truly mean it — we just want you there to celebrate with us. If you'd still like to give something, here are a few ways to contribute.
Please note them in your RSVP! There will be plenty of vegetarian-friendly options throughout the night — hummus, falafel, fried mushrooms, and veggie sides. We can't guarantee dedicated vegan or gluten-free preparation, so tell us what you need and we'll do our best.
Please RSVP by September 1, 2026 so we can finalize our headcount with the caterer. You can RSVP right here on this page!
Nope — we're skipping the formal dinner. Food starts at 6:00 PM and keeps coming all night: Greek spreads, chicken, falafel, sides, and a late-night bite. Come hungry, graze often, and don't wait for a bell.
